Your Role
Akkodis is seeking a Proposal Manager for a Contract with a client in Tempe, AZ (Hybrid). The ideal candidate must have strong experience in proposal management while leading cross-functional teams, analyzing RFPs, and ensuring compliant, high-quality submissions within tight deadlines.
Rate Range: $60/Hour to $65/Hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.
Proposal Manager Job Responsibilities include:
Lead and manage the end-to-end proposal development process, from RFP analysis to final submission.
Build and coordinate cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality, compliant proposals within strict deadlines.
Analyze RFP requirements and develop structured response plans, schedules, and compliance matrices.
Facilitate proposal reviews, track progress, and resolve issues to ensure timely and accurate submissions.
Collaborate closely with sales, engineering, and program teams to develop winning bid strategies.
Drive continuous improvement of proposal processes, reporting metrics, and team performance.
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in business, Engineering, or a related field (APMP, PMP, or Lean Six Sigma certification preferred).
3+ years of experience in proposal management, business development, or related roles within aerospace/defense.
Proven experience managing end-to-end proposal development and leading cross-functional teams to deliver compliant, high-quality submissions.
Strong ability to analyze RFPs, develop proposal strategies, and coordinate with sales, engineering, and program teams to drive successful bids.

Pay Details: $60.00 to $65.00 per hour
