Responsibilities & Qualifications
TYLin's Falmouth, ME office is seeking a Title Specialist to support transportation-related right-of-way services within the Roads + Highways Sector. This position involves paraprofessional support work associated with title abstraction, including investigating, researching, reviewing, and interpreting property records, recorded instruments, deeds, plans, plats, easements, legal descriptions, statutes, and other legal or public record sources to assist with the determination and documentation of property ownership, rights, and right-of-way limits. Responsibilities include assisting Project Managers and other technical staff with complex right-of-way and title-related research; preparing title abstracts, ownership summaries, right-of-way documentation, condemnation support materials, and other legal or technical documents for review, approval, and use by appropriate project staff or counsel. Work is performed with limited supervision and requires strong attention to detail, sound judgment, organization, and the ability to communicate research findings clearly and accurately.
