Staff Accountant 

In Office | Direct Hire | Full-Time

Seeking a detail-oriented accounting professional with a commercial property management and development company. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys a collaborative, in-office environment and wants to contribute to a dynamic portfolio of real estate properties.

What You'll Do

• Prepare and maintain monthly financial statements 
• Perform general ledger reconciliations, bank reconciliations, and account analysis
• Assist with month-end and year-end close processes
• Record journal entries and ensure accuracy of financial data
• Analyze operating expenses and investigate variances
• Support budgeting and forecasting activities
• Work closely with property managers and operations teams
• Assist with audits and special accounting projects as needed
• Maintain financial records and reports within Yardi

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field a plus
• Minimum 3+ years of recent accounting experience within the real estate industry
• Yardi experience a plus
• Strong understanding of general ledger accounting and financial reporting
