Full-time • Onsite • $65,000–$75,000 plus benefits, depending on experience

You know what makes an apartment community work: follow through, a sharp eye for details, and people who care enough to get things done.

We're looking for a Property Manager to bring that mindset to Stonebrook of Scottsburg and Tracks at Seymour. Someone who enjoys meeting future residents, takes pride in a well-kept property, and gets satisfaction from seeing their work make a difference.

You'll oversee both communities, work closely with a dedicated maintenance supervisor, and communicate directly with ownership. You'll have room to take initiative—and we'll expect you to use it.

What you'll take charge of

• Keep apartments full. Follow up with prospects, give great tours, process applications, and help people feel confident choosing their next home.
• Give residents reasons to stay. Build relationships, stay ahead of renewals, and handle concerns with honesty and follow through.
• Stay on top of the numbers. Manage rent collection, address past-due balances early, and keep accurate records.
• Work closely with maintenance. Coordinate work orders, unit turns, and property upkeep so everyone knows what needs to happen next.
• Notice the details. Walk the properties, check curb appeal, and catch small problems before they become bigger ones.
• Keep people informed. Give residents, vendors, maintenance, and ownership clear, timely updates.
• Keep the office organized. Maintain resident files, leases, reports, and day-to-day paperwork.

You like taking responsibility and having the freedom to solve problems. You're friendly, organized, and comfortable having a firm conversation when needed. You can move from a property tour to a resident concern to a delinquency report without losing track of your commitments.

You don't need someone checking in every hour. You do value a responsive team and clear expectations.

What you'll bring

• At least 2–3 years of multifamily property management experience
• A track record of leasing apartments and retaining residents
• Strong communication skills and dependable follow through
• Confidence managing daily operations across two communities
• Working knowledge of Fair Housing requirements
• Comfort with budgets, financial reports, lease administration, and rent collection
• Experience with property management software; Entrata experience is a plus
• Familiarity with Excel, Word, and Outlook
• A high school diploma or equivalent

Experience with smaller communities, working directly with a maintenance supervisor, or a CAM/CAPS certification is welcome.
