    Description

    Schedule: Tuesday-Saturday preferred but flexible for Monday-Friday (early start with an early-afternoon finish; up to 50 hours per week)

    Salary: $120,000-$130,000 annually (based on experience)

    Benefits: 2 weeks PTO / annual stipend for health insurance (available 6 months after start date)

    A private family in Pinecrest, FL is seeking an experienced Property Manager to oversee the daily maintenance and operations of their 11,000-square-foot residence. The ideal candidate is organized, proactive, self-sufficient, and detail-oriented, with strong vendor management and problem-solving skills. This is a discreet, hands-on role for someone who can work independently, stay organized, and take initiative without being micromanaged. Handyman skills and the ability to handle minor repairs are a plus.

    Responsibilities

    • Oversee all aspects of the property’s day-to-day maintenance, upkeep, and operations

    • Maintain the residence and grounds to a consistently high standard

    • Coordinate and manage third-party vendors, including (General contractors, plumbers, pool service providers, landscaping teams, HVAC/air conditioning maintenance providers)

    • Schedule, supervise, and follow up on vendor visits and projects

    • Serve as the primary point of contact for outside contractors and service providers

    • Develop and maintain organized systems and processes for property maintenance

    • Create preventative maintenance schedules and ensure routine services are completed on time

    • Keep detailed records of maintenance, repairs, warranties, service providers, and ongoing projects

    • Identify potential issues early and proactively address them before they become larger problems

    • Manage property-related inventories, including maintaining a comprehensive hurricane/emergency supply list

    • Prepare the property for severe weather and ensure necessary supplies and preventative measures are in place

    • Monitor the condition of the home, systems, appliances, and exterior areas

    • Handle minor repairs and handyman projects as needed

    • Assist with errands and transportation for the family’s teenage daughter (school and activities)

    • Handle errands such as dry cleaning, UPS/shipping drop-offs, and other family-related needs

    • Maintain complete discretion and respect the family’s privacy

    Ideal Candidate

    • Minimum of 5 years experience as a Property Manager, Estate Manager, Facilities Manager, Houseman, or similar role

    • Highly organized with exceptional attention to detail

    • Naturally proactive and solutions-oriented

    • Able to create systems, procedures, schedules, and processes from the ground up

    • Excellent vendor and contractor management skills

    • Strong communication and follow-through

    • Comfortable working independently without extensive direction

    • Self-sufficient and able to identify what needs to be done without being asked

    • Takes ownership and pride in the condition and operation of a property

    • Strong preventative-maintenance mindset

    • Hands-on and mechanically inclined; handyman skills are a significant plus

    • Comfortable driving and handling family/property-related errands

    • Discreet, professional, dependable, and respectful of family privacy

    • Comfortable working in a household where the principals work from home and the family has a homeschooling environment

    • Must live locally in or near Pinecrest, FL and be able to respond to the property for emergencies

    • Must have flexibility for emergency situations/overnight coverage when necessary.
