Are you an experienced Affordable Housing Property Manager who knows LIHTC compliance and enjoys running a community with consistency and care?

We’re hiring a Property Manager for LaFollette Estates, an established 88-apartment-home tax credit community in LaFollette, TN. This is a great opportunity for an experienced affordable housing professional who wants to take ownership of day-to-day operations while working with a manageable-sized community.

Pay: Up to $52,000 based on experience

What We’re Looking For

• 2+ years of Affordable Housing / LIHTC Property Management experience
• Strong understanding of LIHTC compliance, Fair Housing and affordable housing regulations
• Experience preparing for and successfully navigating audits and inspections
• Ability to manage occupancy, leasing, collections and property performance
• Strong leadership and team-management skills
• Experience with budgets, reporting and financial performance
• Strong communication, organization and problem-solving skills
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and property management software

What You’ll Do

• Oversee the daily operations of an 88-home affordable housing community
• Manage leasing, occupancy, renewals and resident retention
• Maintain accurate LIHTC compliance and documentation
• Prepare for inspections, audits and compliance reviews
• Monitor rent collections and property performance
• Manage the property budget and financial reporting
• Lead and support the on-site team
• Coordinate maintenance, vendors and property upkeep
• Build positive relationships with residents and help maintain a well-run community
