We are seeking an experienced and highly motivated Property Manager to oversee the daily operations of a 106 units senior affordable housing community in the Fresno area. The ideal candidate will have extensive knowledge of Low-Income Housing Tax Credit (LIHTC) compliance, senior housing regulations, resident relations, and property operations.
This position requires a strong leader who is organized, detail-oriented, and committed to providing exceptional service to senior residents while ensuring full compliance with all federal, state, and local housing requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage all aspects of property operations, including leasing, occupancy, rent collections, resident retention, and maintenance coordination.
- Ensure ongoing compliance with LIHTC, HUD, Fair Housing, and other affordable housing program requirements.
- Process certifications, recertifications, verifications, and compliance reporting accurately and timely.
- Supervise onsite staff and foster a positive team environment.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with residents, vendors, and community partners.
- Monitor property budgets, expenses, and financial performance.
- Address resident concerns and resolve issues professionally and promptly.
- Conduct property inspections and ensure community standards are maintained.
- Prepare reports and maintain accurate resident and operational records.
Qualifications
- Minimum 3 years of experience managing a tax credit (LIHTC) property.
- Prior experience with senior housing communities preferred.
- Strong knowledge of affordable housing regulations and compliance requirements.
- Experience with tenant certifications and recertifications.
- Excellent customer service, communication, and conflict-resolution skills.
- Strong organizational and time-management abilities.
- Proficiency in property management software and Microsoft Office.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
Preferred Certifications
- Tax Credit Specialist (TCS), Housing Credit Certified Professional (HCCP), or equivalent affordable housing certification.
- Fair Housing certification.
