Position: Property Maintenance TechnicianThe property maintenance technician will be responsible for daily upkeep and maintenance associated with I-80 Gold's 39-unit housing complex. The successful candidate will spend 90% of their time at the housing complex but must be able to work at the Ruby Hill mine site when necessary. The successful candidate must be a self-starter and able to work productively and safely in a single-worker environment. This role reports to Ruby Hill site management.

Interior and exterior paintingDry wall repairMinor plumbing installs and repairMinor electrical workFence repairsPower washingConcrete repairsWindow screen and weather-stripping replacement/repairCarpentry repairs and finish carpentryRoof repairsGroundskeeping/maintaining sprinkler systemsWinter snow and ice removalMoving of company owned appliances/furnitureInstallation, maintenance and minor repair of appliances and groundskeeping equipmentChanging out HVAC filtersKeeping vents and ductwork cleanCreating and maintaining a list/schedule of required property maintenanceOther duties as assigned to support i-80 Gold Corp.
Qualifications:
A maintenance backgroundPrevious experience in the construction field preferredEffective analytical and communication skillsAbility to work/communicate successfully with site administration as well as the general publicAble to be fiscally responsibleAble to be on-call when emergency situations ariseBe available for weekly/monthly meetings with Ruby Hill site managementAble to work safelyAgreeable to use some of their own toolsMust be able to complete and maintain MSHA certificationAbility to occasionally walk on uneven outdoor terrain, lift and carry up to 50lbs, in varying climates and altitudes
