    Description

    We are seeking a Property Condition Assessor to join a growing real estate due diligence consulting practice. This role is focused on evaluating multifamily assets nationwide, supporting underwriting, capital planning, and investment decisions.

    You will play a hands-on role in assessing property conditions and contributing to Capital Needs Assessments (CNAs), helping clients understand both immediate repair needs and long-term capital requirements.

    What You Will Do:
    • Conduct on-site inspections of multifamily properties across the United States
    • Evaluate building systems, structural components, and overall asset condition
    • Identify deferred maintenance and near-term repair needs
    • Support the preparation of Capital Needs Assessments (CNAs) and/or Property Condition Assessments (PCAs)
    • Assist in developing capital reserve schedules and cost estimates
    • Document findings through clear, detailed reports and photo documentation
    • Collaborate with internal teams to support due diligence and underwriting processes
    • Ensure adherence to industry standards and reporting guidelines

    What We Are Looking For:
    • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Architecture, or related field (or equivalent experience)
    • Experience supporting or completing PCAs and/or CNAs
    • Solid understanding of building systems and property evaluations
    • Ability to travel frequently, often on short notice
    • Based near a major metropolitan area with access to a major airport preferred
    • Strong analytical, observational, and report-writing skills
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office; experience with inspection/reporting tools is a plus
