Property Administrator - Contract

Location:   Northwest Plano (100% onsite)
Work Hours:   8:00-5:00 
Hourly Rate:   $25-26/hr.

Our client, a commercial property management firm, is hiring a Property Administrator on a contract basis to cover a 4-month maternity leave. The role is scheduled to start at the beginning of September, and last through the end of the year. 

The ideal candidate will have 2-3 years' administrative and accounting support experience in a high-touch, customer-facing environment. 

Job Summary

Provide administrative, operational, and customer service support for property management, engineering, and leasing teams. Serve as a primary point of contact for customers, vendors, contractors, and visitors while coordinating building operations, work orders, access control, communications, and office administration. Support customer engagement initiatives, leasing activities, marketing efforts, reporting, and building technology systems to ensure efficient operations and a high level of customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support property management and engineering teams with customer and vendor service requests.
  • Manage work orders through MRI Software, ensuring timely response, completion, and customer follow-up.
  • Coordinate customer communications, contact databases, correspondence, and events.
  • Assist with building inspections, security notifications, contractor access, and access control systems.
  • Serve as the primary contact for building technology, conference rooms, and digital displays.
  • Maintain office operations, including supplies, equipment repairs, mail distribution, and daily office procedures.
  • Collaborate with security, janitorial, and engineering teams to address building-related issues.
  • Support leasing and marketing activities, including reports, tour books, approval processes, website updates, and marketing materials.
  • Provide administrative support to senior leadership and regional teams.
  • Manage filing systems, broker and customer gifts, and other administrative duties as assigned.
