The OpportunityAs the
Property & Casualty Regional Practice Leader, you'll serve as a senior technical and market leader for the P&C practice within the region. You'll partner across regional offices, National P&C Leadership, producers, service teams, and carrier partners to strengthen market strategy, organic growth, retention, and practice alignment.
This is a highly collaborative leadership opportunity for an accomplished P&C professional who brings deep technical expertise, strong carrier relationships, and the ability to lead through influence across a multi-office organization.
RESPONSIBILITIES- Serve as a senior P&C technical and market resource for leaders, producers, and service teams across the region.
- Provide guidance on complex placements, renewals, coverage strategies, and risk solutions.
- Build and strengthen strategic carrier and wholesale relationships while aligning regional and national market strategies.
- Partner with producers and leadership on significant prospects, renewals, at-risk accounts, and growth opportunities.
- Share market intelligence, underwriting trends, carrier appetite changes, and emerging risk considerations.
- Connect regional teams with specialized expertise, resources, and capabilities across Alera Group.
- Support adoption of national P&C initiatives, tools, technology, and best practices.
- Promote collaboration and knowledge sharing across offices while supporting the integration of newly acquired businesses.
- Serve as a connector between regional offices and National P&C Leadership, bringing forward opportunities, insights, and market needs.
QUALIFICATIONSRequired- 15+ years of progressive Property & Casualty insurance experience with a broker, carrier, consulting firm, or similar organization.
- Deep knowledge of P&C insurance markets, coverage, underwriting practices, carrier strategy, and evolving industry conditions.
- Experience supporting complex P&C placements, market strategy, client solutions, or business development.
- Strong carrier and industry relationships.
- Demonstrated ability to influence and partner with producers, executives, service teams, and other business leaders.
- Experience working effectively across a multi-office or similarly complex organization.
- Strong executive presence, strategic thinking, business judgment, and communication skills.
- Ability to travel domestically up to 20%.
Preferred- Experience supporting organic growth and client retention strategies.
- Experience driving adoption of new P&C practices, tools, technology, or resources.
- Experience supporting acquired businesses or organizational integration.
Compensation- Salary Range: $175,000 - 225,000 annually
