What You’ll Do as a Property Accountant:

• Manage daily accounting for assigned properties, including general ledger activity, tenant ledger adjustments, and reconciliations
• Support month-end close, including accruals, reclasses, write-offs, and financial reporting
• Review property financials and analyze variances, receivables, credits, and expenses
• Support affordable housing compliance and reporting
• Assist with budgeting and revenue and expense analysis
• Prepare supporting documentation for audits and perform annual petty cash audits

What We’re Looking for in a Property Accountant:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting required
• 2+ years of accounting experience; property management or real estate accounting preferred
• Affordable housing experience is a plus
• Yardi Property Management Software experience preferred
• Strong Excel, reconciliation, and analytical skills
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines
