We're looking for a strong Property Accountant to take ownership of the accounting and financial reporting for a portfolio of retail assets (8–10 properties). This is a highly visible role working closely with property management, where you'll play a key part in keeping financials accurate, timely, and running smoothly day-to-day.What You'll Be DoingOwn the monthly close process and deliver clear, accurate financial statementsReview and maintain general ledger activity, including AR, AP, and journal entriesPrepare supporting schedules and ensure all reporting ties out and is fully reconciledComplete monthly bank and balance sheet reconciliationsHandle CAM reconciliations annually and work through any tenant questions or discrepanciesReview lease terms to confirm proper billing and make adjustments as neededCalculate CPI increases and percentage rentPartner with property managers on budgets and CAM estimatesManage lender draw requests related to tenant improvements, leasing commissions, and capital projectsAct as the go-to accounting partner for your assigned properties, helping troubleshoot and resolve issues as they ariseWhat They're Looking ForBachelor's degree in Accounting3–5 years of property accounting experience (retail or commercial preferred)Hands-on experience with CAM reconciliationsSolid understanding of financial reporting and general ledger accountingAbility to juggle multiple properties and deadlines without sacrificing accuracyStrong Excel skills (pivot tables, lookups, etc.)Experience with Yardi or MRI is a plus#J-18808-Ljbffr
