Our client is a growing real estate investment and property management company looking to add a Property Accountant to their close-knit accounting team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys owning the full accounting cycle, working in a collaborative environment, and wearing multiple hats within a small, team-oriented company.
Responsibilities
- Manage full-cycle accounting for a portfolio of approximately 20 properties
- Perform month-end close activities
- Process accounts payable invoices
- Manage tenant receivables and collections
- Complete bank reconciliations
- Prepare CAM reconciliations and reporting
- Assist with lease administration
- Respond to tenant billing questions and support vendors as needed
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting
- 3-5+ years of full-cycle accounting experience
- Experience with month-end close, reconciliations, AP, and AR
- Comfortable working in a small company environment where everyone pitches in
Preferred Experience
- Property management or real estate accounting
- Yardi ERP experience
