Key Responsibilities for the Senior Accountant:



  • Prepare financial statements for multiple entities, management reports, and variance analysis

  • Prepare and reconcile general ledger accounts, bank reconciliations, intercompany accounts, and subsidiary ledgers

  • Full cycle A/P and A/R – coding to different entities

  • Support month-end and year-end close activities while ensuring financial accuracy

  • Coordinate audit preparation, audit schedules, and respond to auditor requests

  • Review grant activity for reporting compliance and collaborate with internal teams

  • Identify accounting process improvements and help implement operational efficiencies


Qualifications for the Senior Accountant:



  • Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, business Administration, or related field

  • Three or more years of accounting experience

  • Experience preparing financial statements and account reconciliations

  • Strong Microsoft Excel skills and experience with Yardi a huge plus


Preferred:



  • Property or real estate accounting experience

  • High-volume bank reconciliation experience
