Senior Accountant – Real Estate Portfolio Accounting

Dallas, TX | Full-time | On-Site

An established real estate investment and property management organization is seeking a Senior Accountant to support accounting operations across commercial and multifamily property portfolios. This role offers the opportunity to work directly with leadership while managing a diverse portfolio of real estate assets.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage full-cycle accounting for assigned properties and portfolios.
• Prepare and analyze monthly financial statements.
• Complete CAM reconciliations and other year-end accounting activities.
• Assist with annual budgets, forecasting, and financial reporting.
• Ensure compliance with GAAP and company accounting policies.
• Collaborate with property management and operational teams to support portfolio performance.

Portfolio Opportunities

• Commercial properties, including office, retail, and industrial assets.
• Multifamily residential communities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of real estate accounting experience.
• Strong understanding of GAAP and financial reporting.
• Experience with property management/accounting software; Yardi experience preferred.
• CPA designation or progress toward certification is a plus.
