Promise Neighborhood Extended Day Site Coordinator

Job Title: PN Extended Day Site Coordinator Position Code: Job Classification: Supervisor: Pay Grade: M8 Contract Position Overview: The Site Coordinator will monitor, maintain, and organize the academic and enrichment activities for the Promise Neighborhood Extended Day Program. The Site Coordinator will provide services that assist students and staff on Monday - Friday. Times are as follows for each site: 3:20 pm

• 7:20 pm for A.R. Rucker Middle School, 2:05 pm
• 6:05 pm for Clinton Elementary School, and 3:30 pm
• 7:30 pm for Lancaster High School. Essential Job Functions: Arranges student recruitment and orientation activities for the program Identifies students in need of additional academic support initiated by the recommendation of the school principal or assigned administrator Collaborates with extended day teachers and staff to ensure students' academic and social needs are identified and met Coordinates with the principals in order to identify student that need additional academic support Coordinates and distributes snacks and supplies for enrolled students Provides assistance with coordinating homework assignments between classroom teachers and the extended day program staff Serves as a resource to parents and the community on information regarding the extended day program activities and issues Monitors student engagement and participation Maintains student attendance records Schedules bus transportation as needed Provides overall scheduling and coordination of monthly Saturday sessions and summer programs for the school sites Develops short-term and long-term goals that support the philosophy and policies of the Superintendent Performs related duties as assigned Education and Experience: At least three or five years of experience working with Extended Day Programs Associate Degree (Preferred) Ability to work with diverse cultural backgrounds Effective written and verbal communication skills Willingness and ability to tutor students Flexible, resourceful, enthusiastic, and energetic Employment Terms: Duration: Monday
