About This Position

TJFACT is seeking a versatile and well-qualified Project/Warehouse Manager to support the Defense Logistics Agency (DLA), U.S. Department of Defense (DoD), in Albany, Georgia. This is a full-time onsite position supporting daily warehouse operations and serving as the primary onsite point of contact for Government representatives.

The Project/Warehouse Manager is responsible for overseeing contract performance, supervising contractor personnel, ensuring efficient use of resources, and maintaining quality standards while supporting the successful execution of warehouse operations in accordance with contract requirements.

Please note: This position is being recruited in support of a proposal effort. Any offer of employment is contingent upon contract award and successful completion of all pre-employment requirements.


Key Responsibilities

  • Possess the knowledge and skills required to plan, control, manage, and ensure the successful completion of contract requirements while serving as the Contractor's onsite point of contact for Government representatives.
  • Provide overall supervision of contractor personnel, including planning and professionally managing contract performance; ensuring work is scheduled to maximize available resources; and ensuring accurate and timely reports are provided.
  • Provide effective supervision to prevent inefficient or wasteful methods in the performance of labor-hour services.
  • Ensure cost-saving measures and quality control practices are implemented to support work being performed as scheduled and at a fair and reasonable cost.
  • Adjust employee staffing and work schedules to meet customer requirements while minimizing overtime.

 

Required Qualifications

  • U.S. Citizen.
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Minimum of three (3) years of experience using a Warehouse Management System (WMS), or an equivalent automated warehouse management system, within the past five (5) years.
