Description

Job Summary:
The Project Training Coordinator/Facilitator will be accountable for the delivery of training programs and material in a Construction environment. Will preferably have worked in remote locations and requires a valid driver's license as Training related activities may be conducted in multiple locations on the project.
 
Major Responsibilities:
  • Manage the project ES&H Training Program in accordance with company ES&H Core Processes, project procedures, and client requirements.
  • Develop, implement, and maintain project ES&H training plans, training matrices, and qualification programs.
  • Supervise ES&H training personnel and provide coaching, mentoring, and professional development.
  • Coordinate and conduct new hire orientation, supervisor orientation, refresher training, and regulatory-required training.
  • Ensure training requirements are integrated into project execution plans, subcontractor onboarding programs, and workforce qualification processes.
  • Maintain training records and databases and ensure compliance with OSHA, MSHA, client, and project requirements.
  • Analyze training performance data and provide metrics, dashboards, and trend analysis to project leadership.
  • Evaluate training effectiveness through audits, assessments, observations, testing, and field performance indicators.
  • Work closely with Construction, Workforce Services, Medical, Emergency Response, Industrial Hygiene, and Environmental personnel to identify training needs and implement corrective actions.
  • Support incident investigations through development and communication of lessons learned and targeted retraining programs.
  • Lead continuous improvement initiatives related to workforce competency, compliance, and ES&H culture.
  • Must possess current OSHA 500 and/or OSHA 502 credentials with a valid OSHA Outreach Trainer authorization card and demonstrated experience delivering OSHA 30-Hour Construction Outreach Training in accordance with OSHA Outreach Training Program requirements.
 
 
Education and Experience Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Safety, Occupational Health, Industrial Hygiene, Environmental Science, Education, or related field.
  • 10+ years of construction ES&H experience.
  • Experience developing and delivering instructor-led training on large industrial or construction projects.
  • Working knowledge of OSHA, MSHA, and ES&H Core Processes.
  • Strong presentation, facilitation, coaching, and communication skills.
  • Experience with learning management systems, training databases, and compliance reporting.
  • OSHA 500/510, OSHA 502, MSHA Instructor certification, or equivalent training credentials preferred.
  • A current US driver's license due to the potential for the successful candidate to be delivering training instruction at multiple locations.
