ASRC Federal AFSS is a premier provider of systems engineering, software engineering, system integration and project management support for real-time, mission-critical defense systems. We are seeking a Part-Time Project Support Specialist to provide senior level support to a NASA contract in Greenbelt, MD.
Job Description:
Provide part-time, on-site project support to the Moon to Mars Space Weather Analysis Office (M2M SWAO) within the Heliophysics Science Division (Code 670) at NASA Goddard Space Flight Center (GSFC). M2M SWAO conducts critical, real-time space weather analysis for NASA missions across the solar system. This role requires a proactive, self-sufficient problem-solver and confident communicator. The ideal candidate will seamlessly interface with diverse teams and executive leadership to ensure continuous, efficient, and welcoming office operations.

Ability to work on-site at NASA GSFC in Greenbelt, MD, five days a week, Monday-Friday, 9:00 AM to 1:00 PM (20 hours/week). Flexibility to work additional hours during surge periods.
Exceptional interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills. Proven ability to anticipate needs, create efficient process flows, and comfortably interface with executive-level leadership, team members, and stakeholders.
Highly capable of balancing multiple priorities, taking direction from leadership, tracking complex tasks, and rapidly distributing information across teams.
Outstanding customer services skills; must be proactive and responsive to customer requests. Ability to learn quickly and think critically to create innovative solutions.
Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook. Experience with MS Planner is a plus.
Must meet government NAC and citizenship/permanent residency requirements for access to NASA GSFC. An extensive background investigation is required.
Education & Experience: Bachelor's degree and 4 years of professional experience (or 7 years of experience without a bachelor's degree). Education, training, or demonstrated interest in heliophysics or a STEM-related field is preferred.
