    Summary: The Project Support Coordinator will assist in the coordination, planning, and execution of construction projects from inception to completion. In this role, you will work closely with various stakeholders to ensure smooth operations and timely project delivery. Strong attention to details and time management skills are required for this role.

    Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

    • Provide project support in organizing and managing construction projects, including scheduling and budgeting.
    • Maintain project documentation, including contracts, permits, RFIs, POs, change orders, submittals, daily logs, etc.
    • Direct and instruct the construction and engineering groups on project timelines and compliance adherence.
    • Organize office and assist employees in ways that optimize procedures.
    • Create and update records ensuring accuracy and validity of information. 
    • Schedule and plan meetings and appointments, create a master schedule for all team members.
    • Resolve office-related issues, such as supplies, updating employee lists and contact lists, seating arrangements, etc.
    • Coordinate with other departments to ensure compliance with established policies.
    • Arrange meetings, take or distribute minutes of meetings, help prepare Excel, Word, PowerPoint presentations. 
    • Create flow charts or other types of presentations to assist team members.
    • Maintain trusting relationships with subcontractors, vendors, and other external stakeholders. Ensure clear and timely communication with stakeholders.
    • Assist the leaders with the invoice, payment control and all administrative related tasks.
    • Assist project team with safety compliance within the job site.
    • Ensure the level of quality is being complied with.
    • Assist in the maintenance of a clean job site, take direction well, detail oriented.
    • Other responsibilities as assigned.

    Qualifications:

    The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.   

    Education/Experience:

    • High School Diploma/GED or above. Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Construction Management, or a related field.
    • 3-5+ years of experience

    Skills and Competencies:

    • Strong understanding of construction methods. practices, and safety regulations.
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite products (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook, Teams).
    • Ability to use commonly used engineering software, such as AutoCAD, Primavera, or others.
    • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
    • High level of attention to detail, and highly organized.
    • Ability to act with integrity, professionalism, and confidentiality.
    • Ability to effectively prioritize responsibilities depending on project needs. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers and employees.
    • Ability to develop and maintain successful relationships with all levels of employees, clients, and subcontractors.
    • Must be able to work under pressure and meet deadlines while maintaining a professional attitude.
    • Ability to work independently and in a team setting.
    • Ability to work in a construction site environment (trailer office).

    Language Proficiency:

    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
    • Ability to communicate in Mandarin, preferred.

    Nice to have:

    • Start-up experience, in construction preferred.
    • Verbal communication skills in Mandarin.
    • PMP, CAPM, or other relevant certifications.

    Additional Requirements:

    • Must have and maintain a valid driver’s license. May be required to travel to other sites within Arizona to perform certain work functions.

    Physical Demands:

    The physical demands described here are representative of those that a candidate must meet to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.

    • Frequently stand and walk for extended periods throughout the workday.
    • Frequently lift, carry, push, and pull materials weighing up to 50 pounds, and occasionally lift heavier items with assistance or mechanical equipment.
    • Bend, stoop, kneel, crouch, and reach to perform assigned tasks.
    • Use hands and fingers to handle, feel, grasp, and operate tools, equipment, or materials.
    • Perform repetitive motions involving the hands, wrists, and arms.
    • Climb ladders, stairs, or elevated surfaces as required by the job.
    • Maintain visual acuity sufficient to read labels, instructions, safety signage, and documentation.
    • Maintain balance and coordination while moving materials or operating equipment.
    • Ability to work in physically demanding environments requiring frequent movement and manual labor.

     

    Work Environment:

    • Exposure to dust, noise, vibration, and moving mechanical equipment.
    • Indoor and/or outdoor work environments, which may include varying temperatures and weather conditions.
    • Work in confined spaces, elevated areas, or active job sites, depending on project requirements.
    • Required use of personal protective equipment (PPE) such as hard hats, safety glasses, gloves, steel-toe boots, and high-visibility vests.
    • Interaction with powered industrial equipment, tools, and vehicles.
