Division/Unit: Information Technology Bureau Civil Service Title: Community Coordinator Position Title: Project Solution Coordinator Salary Range: $72,779 - $95,735

Job Description: The New York County District Attorney's Office (DANY) has an opening for a Project Solution Coordinator. In this position, we are seeking a highly organized and proactive Information Technology Project/Solution Coordinator to support the successful delivery of technology solutions across the organization, with a strong emphasis on coordinating with procurement and vendor management teams. This role will ensure IT solutions are scoped, sourced, and implemented effectively, aligning with business goals and compliance standards.

The ideal candidate is adept at managing multiple priorities, translating needs into actionable technical requirements, and facilitating cross-functional collaboration throughout the solution lifecycle.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Working with IT management and necessary IT Units, coordinate end-to-end IT solution delivery, from initial scoping, budget requests and requirements gathering to procurement, implementation, and post launch support.
  • Work closely with procurement teams to support sourcing efforts as required. To include but not limited to, participating in vendor sourcing efforts, evaluations, and technical proposal document drafts.
  • Act as a bridge between technical teams, business stakeholders and procurement to ensure alignment on goals timelines and cost considerations.
  • Collaborate with internal IT and business teams to define solution specific specifications and ensure they meet organizational needs.
  • Track and manage project deliverables schedules and dependencies using project management tools.
  • Maintain detailed documentation.
  • Monitor risks and issues and support resolution by working across teams and escalating as needed.
  • Ensure that all solutions comply with internal policies and data security standards by facilitating coordination with necessary IT teams as required.

Minimum Qualification Requirements: A baccalaureate degree from an accredited college and two years of experience in community work or community centered activities in an area related to the duties described above; or High school graduation or equivalent and six years of experience in community work or community centered activities in an area related to the duties as described above; or Education and/or experience which is equivalent to 1 or 2 above. However, all candidates must have at least one year of experience as described in 1 above.

Additional Requirements: In addition to the Minimum Qualification Requirements, candidates must possess the following:

  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Business Administration or a related field from an accredited college;
  • Minimum Two (2) - Four (4) years of experience in IT project coordination or solution delivery, with demonstrated experience working alongside procurement or vendor management teams.

Preferred Requirements/Skills:

  • Strong understanding of IT solution lifecycles (software, hardware, and cloud-based solutions)
  • Excellent communication, documentation, and stakeholder engagement skills
  • Proficient in project and procurement tools (MS project, excel…)
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities under tight deadlines
  • Familiarity with IT procurement and budgeting preferred
  • Familiarity with ITIL or Agile methodology
  • Experience working on large scale IT implementation
