    Position Overview

    The Project Services Manager is responsible for building a winning team and knowledge base for achieving excellence in all facets of commercial project work including hiring, training and managing SiteOne Project Services staff and processes. This role works in collaboration with regional and area leadership to achieve business objectives for the assigned region.

    What You'll Do:

    • Manage workflow and output in the following functional areas for assigned regions - lead sourcing, design, estimating, quoting, submittals, support and project follow up. (Lead sourcing is dotted line management)
    • Manage the regional Project Services team to ensure material take-off and design production meets demand.
    • Delegation and scheduling of incoming work and supervision of employees.
    • Communicate with Sellers, Branch Managers, Area Sales Managers & Regional Commercial Sales Managers regarding regional & market preferences, competitive quote issues and pricing strategies.
    • Identify new areas of opportunity to meet growth objectives of the region.
    • Respond to inquiries, investigate and resolve errors and answers process questions from SiteOne field associates.
    • Perform administrative duties related to performance management, salary pay plan, succession planning, resource planning, training, and development of direct reports.

    Skills We Are Seeking

    • Degree in a business/management discipline or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
    • 5-7 years managerial experience which includes leadership, motivation and/or team building.
    • Strong knowledge of industry practices and products.
    • Strong knowledge of irrigation design principles.
    • Must possess the ability to understand and perform calculations from irrigation and landscape designs.
    • Understanding of the commercial bidding process.
    • Working knowledge of MS Office and Outlook.
