Project Scheduler – Construction

Join a Growing Construction Team

We are seeking an experienced Project Scheduler to join a dynamic construction organization. This individual will play a critical role in planning, developing, maintaining, and monitoring project schedules for large-scale commercial, industrial, infrastructure, and/or civil construction projects. The ideal candidate is highly organized, detail-oriented, and experienced in managing multiple project schedules while collaborating with project teams to ensure successful project execution.

Responsibilities

  • Develop, maintain, and update detailed project schedules from preconstruction through project closeout.
  • Create baseline schedules and monitor progress against established milestones.
  • Collaborate with Project Managers, Superintendents, Estimators, Engineers, Owners, and Subcontractors to develop realistic project timelines.
  • Identify schedule risks, delays, and critical path activities and provide recommendations for mitigation.
  • Track procurement activities, material deliveries, and subcontractor performance to ensure alignment with project schedules.
  • Prepare schedule updates, recovery plans, look-ahead schedules, and executive reports.
  • Analyze project progress and provide forecasting for labor, resources, and project completion dates.
  • Participate in project meetings and communicate schedule impacts to stakeholders.
  • Support claims analysis, delay documentation, and change order evaluations when necessary.
  • Ensure schedules comply with contract requirements and company standards.

Qualifications

  • 3+ years of experience in construction scheduling, project controls, project planning, or related construction management roles.
  • Strong knowledge of commercial, industrial, civil, infrastructure, utility, or EPC construction projects.
  • Proficiency with Primavera P6 required.
  • Experience with Microsoft Project, Excel, and other scheduling or project management software.
  • Understanding of CPM (Critical Path Method) scheduling principles.
  • Ability to analyze project data and identify potential schedule conflicts.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills.
  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Project Management, or related field preferred.
  • PMP Certification is a plus.
