Job Summary
Seeking a Non-IT Project/Program Manager with 10+ years of engineering and program management experience to lead New Product Introduction (NPI) programs for customer- and dealer-facing connectivity solutions. The role will drive requirements, engineering execution, risk management, supplier coordination, and cross-functional program delivery.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead NPI and product development programs for connectivity solutions.
- Define and manage functional requirements based on customer, dealer, business, and regulatory needs.
- Coordinate engineering teams, suppliers, and business stakeholders.
- Drive program schedules, milestones, deliverables, and engineering execution.
- Develop and maintain technology and product road maps.
- Identify and manage program risks, issues, and dependencies.
- Align marketing, system, hardware, and functional requirements.
- Evaluate emerging connectivity technologies and supplier solutions.
- Gather and refine customer connectivity and feature requirements.
- Communicate program status, technical information, risks, and decisions to senior/VP-level stakeholders.
- Collaborate with global teams in the U.S. and India.
Requirements
- 10+ years of relevant Project/Program Management or Engineering experience.
- Bachelor's degree in engineering required.
- Strong NPI / New Product Introduction and product development experience.
- Proven experience in high-velocity program execution and risk management.
- Experience with electronic components, information systems, and machine systems development.
- Strong requirements management and cross-functional leadership skills.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and technical communication skills.
- Experience working with customers, suppliers, engineering teams, and business stakeholders.
- Ability to communicate effectively with VP-level stakeholders.
Preferred
- Experience with connectivity/telematics products.
- Knowledge of on-board software, gateways, and platforms.
- Heavy Equipment / Off-Highway product development experience.
- Experience with Grade Control, Remote Control, Autonomy, or other on-machine technologies.
- Knowledge of IoT standards, regulations, and regional requirements.
- Experience with Cellular, Satellite, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, UWB, or Positioning technologies.
