Project/Program Manager, Non-IT

Contract Duration: 24 months
We are seeking an experienced Project/Program Manager to lead complex, cross-functional initiatives supporting the global introduction of battery-electric products and charging services. This role will partner with Engineering, Supply Chain, Legal, Tax, Compliance, Commercial, Digital, and Business Resources teams to develop scalable go-to-market processes for multiple international markets.
This is an excellent opportunity for a strategic, adaptable project leader to influence end-to-end business processes, challenge traditional approaches, and help bring innovative products and services to market.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute detailed project plans, schedules, budgets, milestones, and deliverables.
- Lead cross-functional projects involving battery-electric products, chargers, supply chain processes, and global market requirements.
- Translate market and customer requirements into actionable tasks for technical and non-technical teams.
- Research and define the requirements needed to introduce products and charging services into specific countries.
- Coordinate with Legal, Tax, Compliance, Engineering, Supply Chain, Purchasing, Commercial, and Digital stakeholders.
- Support the development of recycling supplier strategies and processes for lithium-ion batteries.
- Evaluate import/export requirements, title transfers, commercial terms, regulatory considerations, and supply chain processes.
- Facilitate and document meetings, decisions, responsibilities, action items, risks, and project dependencies.
- Monitor project execution and regularly communicate progress, gaps, risks, roadblocks, and recommended solutions to leadership.
- Conduct cost evaluations and review contracts, estimates, resource requirements, and project feasibility.
- Create process maps, define roles and responsibilities, and establish implementation timelines.
- Identify continuous improvement opportunities and recommend future project phases.
- Adapt plans and priorities quickly in response to changing business, customer, and market requirements.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in business administration, project management, engineering, or a related field with 10 or more years of relevant experience.
- Associate degree with 12 or more years of relevant experience may be considered.
- Master’s degree with eight or more years of relevant experience may be considered.
- Extensive experience in project and program management within engineering, manufacturing, product development, supply chain, or another non-IT environment.
- Demonstrated ability to manage projects according to schedule, budget, scope, and business objectives.
- Strong process-mapping skills and the ability to understand and improve complex process flows.
- Experience translating market and customer requirements into actionable cross-functional deliverables.
- Strong critical-thinking, problem-solving, meeting-facilitation, and communication skills.
- Ability to collaborate with both technical and non-technical stakeholders across functions, countries, and time zones.
- Advanced proficiency with Microsoft 365, including Windows, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
- Ability to work independently, manage competing priorities, and adapt quickly to changing requirements.
- Strong business acumen, intellectual curiosity, and willingness to reconsider or revise established processes.
- Must meet applicable export-control requirements.
Preferred Qualifications
- PMI or PMP certification.
- Experience with Microsoft Project, Visio, and Copilot.
- Experience supporting electrification, battery products, charging services, regulatory compliance, or global go-to-market initiatives.
- Knowledge of commercial terms, cost evaluation, import/export processes, and international supply chains.
- Demonstrated leadership and mentoring abilities.
