Project/Program Manager (Non-IT) | East Peoria, IL | Onsite
 

We are seeking an experienced Project/Program Manager to lead critical supplier resourcing initiatives and drive cross-functional project execution within a large manufacturing organization. This is an excellent opportunity for a proven project leader who enjoys collaborating with purchasing, engineering, and leadership teams to solve complex business challenges and deliver impactful results.

Location: East Peoria, IL
Schedule: First Shift (7:00 AM - 3:00 PM or 8:00 AM - 4:00 PM)
Duration: 24-Month Contract
Pay: $52 - $53 an hr

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and coordinate supplier resourcing projects from planning through execution.
  • Develop detailed project plans, timelines, and strategies to achieve business objectives.
  • Partner with purchasing, engineering, production, and leadership teams to drive project success.
  • Identify risks, resource constraints, and opportunities to accelerate project timelines.
  • Provide escalation support and communicate project status to senior leadership.
  • Analyze resource requirements, project feasibility, and business impacts.
  • Present project updates, recommendations, findings, and reports to stakeholders.
  • Review contracts, cost estimates, and project deliverables.
  • Facilitate project meetings and ensure alignment across cross-functional teams.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or a related field.
  • 5+ years of project or program management experience.
  • Strong leadership and organizational skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
  • Experience managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to professionally communicate risks, issues, and escalations to leadership.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools, including Word, PowerPoint, Project, and Visio.

Preferred Qualifications

  • PMI or PMP Certification.
  • Experience supporting manufacturing, procurement, supply chain, or engineering projects.
  • Strong understanding of business operations, resource planning, and production processes.
