Job Summary:
We are seeking a technically strong Project/Program Manager III to support data center infrastructure projects with a strong focus on commissioning, testing, troubleshooting, and site readiness.
This role is suited for someone who combines project management capabilities with hands-on knowledge of electrical and mechanical systems. You will work closely with engineering teams, contractors, vendors, and site stakeholders to test infrastructure, identify issues, troubleshoot problems, and drive projects through successful completion.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage technical infrastructure and commissioning projects from planning through completion.
- Coordinate and support testing, commissioning, site readiness, and validation activities.
- Work closely with engineering teams, contractors, and vendors during installation, testing, and commissioning.
- Review technical issues and help troubleshoot electrical and mechanical infrastructure problems.
- Track project milestones, schedules, risks, issues, and dependencies.
- Coordinate multiple technical workstreams and ensure deliverables are completed on schedule.
- Validate that systems and equipment meet project requirements and operational expectations.
- Identify deficiencies and coordinate corrective actions with vendors and engineering teams.
- Escalate technical and project risks to the appropriate stakeholders.
- Provide clear project updates and communicate technical issues to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Document test results, issues, resolutions, lessons learned, and project status.
- Support projects across multiple sites and travel as required.
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in project/program management, commissioning, engineering, construction, or technical infrastructure environments.
- Strong technical knowledge of electrical and/or mechanical systems.
- Electrical experience involving power distribution and switchgear is highly preferred.
- Mechanical experience with chillers, cooling towers, air handlers, liquid cooling, exhaust fans, or large mechanical distribution is highly valuable.
- Hands-on experience with testing, commissioning, troubleshooting, or technical validation.
- Experience working with contractors, vendors, engineering teams, and other technical stakeholders.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Strong accountability and ability to independently drive issue resolution.
- Excellent communication and escalation-management skills.
- Comfortable working on-site Monday through Friday.
- Willingness to travel between project locations as required.
