Job Summary:
We are seeking a Project/Program Manager I to coordinate and drive execution of an Operations Safety Support program within a high-volume manufacturing environment. This role partners with Operations, Safety (EHS), Engineering, Facilities, Maintenance, and Learning & Development teams to ensure safety initiatives, incident investigations, corrective actions, contractor onboarding, and operational compliance are executed effectively. The ideal candidate has strong manufacturing floor operations experience, excellent cross-functional communication skills, and the ability to drive safety programs to completion.

Key Responsibilities
  • Coordinate incident reporting, investigations, root cause analysis, and corrective action planning.
  • Track and drive closure of operational safety action items.
  • Conduct behavioral safety audits and provide real-time coaching on the production floor.
  • Support contractor onboarding, competency verification, and compliance monitoring.
  • Execute Pre-Startup Risk Management (PSRM) safety checklists before production begins.
  • Partner with Operations, EHS, Engineering, Facilities, Maintenance, and Learning teams to resolve safety-related issues.
  • Monitor SOP adherence, housekeeping standards, PIT operations, and overall operational safety.
  • Prepare regular reports on open actions, risks, trends, and safety performance metrics.
  • Maintain strong floor presence to reinforce safety culture and operational excellence.

Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
  • 2–4 years of experience in manufacturing operations, operational safety, EHS support, industrial operations, or program management.
  • Experience with incident investigations and root cause analysis.
  • Knowledge of behavioral safety auditing and safety compliance.
  • Experience managing corrective actions and safety documentation.
  • Comfortable working in a manufacturing or production floor environment.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
