Description

Payrate: $51.00- $52.00/hr.
 
Position’s Contributions to Work Group:
This role will take on a multitude of projects to support business needs by providing leadership and coordination for cross-functional switchgear / power distribution projects, ensuring alignment between engineering, manufacturing, supply chain, quality, and customer teams. Drives project execution, manages risks and financial performance, facilitates stakeholder communication, and helps deliver high-quality solutions that support customer satisfaction and business objectives.
 
Typical task breakdown:
  • Project Planning & Coordination (25%)
    • Develop project schedules, define milestones, allocate resources, and coordinate activities across engineering, manufacturing, supply chain, and quality teams
  • Project Execution & Monitoring (30%)
    • Track project progress, manage deliverables, resolve issues, mitigate risks, and ensure projects remain on schedule and within budget
  • Customer & Stakeholder Management (20%)
    • Serve as the primary customer contact, provide status updates, facilitate meetings, and align expectations between customers and internal teams
  • Financial & Commercial Management (15%)
    • Monitor project costs, profitability, invoicing milestones, change orders, and contract compliance
  • Risk, Quality & Continuous Improvement (10%)
    • Ensure adherence to safety and quality standards, manage project risks, support testing and delivery activities, and drive process improvements.
 
Education & Experience Required:
  • Years of experience: 5 is preferred, but this could be flexible depending on previous experience as well as degrees held
  • Degree requirement: Bachelors
  • Open to 2-year degree with 9 years’ experience
  • Open to master’s with 3 years’ experience

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and project management tools (Microsoft Project, Smartsheet, or equivalent)
  • Experience in manufacturing, industrial, construction, power generation, or engineered-to-order environment
  • Experience with ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle, or similar platforms
  • Familiarity with factory acceptance testing (FAT), commissioning, and field installation processes
  • Understanding of electrical drawings, single-line diagrams, and technical specifications
  • PMP certification or formal project management certification
  • Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, or continuous improvement experience
  • Experience managing large capital equipment or customer-specific engineered products

Pay Transparency: The typical base pay for this role across the U.S. is: $51.00 - $52.00 /hour. Non-exempt positions are eligible for overtime at a rate of 1.5 times the base hourly rate for all hours worked in excess of 40 in a work week, or as required by state or local law. Final offer amounts, within the base pay set forth above, are determined by factors including your relevant skills, education and experience. Full-time employees are eligible to select from different benefits packages.
