Department Summary:
The UCLA Voting Rights Project (VRP) is located within the UCLA Luskin School of Public Affairs and is operated in partnership with the UCLA School of Law and the UCLA School of Social Sciences. VRP works to ensure an accessible and equitable system of voting through impact litigation, research, and clinical education.
Position Summary:
Under close supervision of the Directors, the Junior Policy Analyst assists in policy, research, and program planning, development, administration, management and implementation. The position participates in interpreting, monitoring and analyzing information regarding policies and procedures and provides information and support to department administrators, stakeholders, and the legal team.

Qualifications:
- Interpersonal skills and ability to maintain cooperative relationships and ongoing communications with persons of diverse social, educational, and cultural backgrounds. (Required)
- Working knowledge of social science research methods and ability to communicate research and policy-related information clearly to technical and non-technical audiences. (Required)
- Highly organized with strong skills in using project management tools to compile information in the most efficient and informative, manage project tasks, and track progress and information. (Preferred)
- Demonstrate exceptional abilities at writing, reporting and copy editing. This includes the ability to write concise, logical, grammatically correct documents and materials for academic and public consumption. (Preferred)
- Ability to help extract data, merge different data sets, read and review syntax for coding of large data sets. (Preferred)

- Bachelor's Degree in good academic standing from an accredited college or university. (Required)
