Description

Primary Talent Partners has a new contract opening for a Project Manager (Workday - Time and Attendance) to join a gas and electric company in Columbus, OH. This is a 5-month contract to start with the potential for extensions. 


Pay:$107.00 - $117.00/hr; W2 contract, no PTO, no Benefits. ACA-compliant supplemental package available for enrollment. Candidates must be legally authorized to work in the United States and must be able to sit on Primary Talent Partners W2 without sponsorship.


Description:
The Deployment Lead will have previous deployment experience with Workday modules in order to work with the Workday Time and Attendance project team and other IT teams to plan, coordinates, and oversees the release of software, systems, or hardware into a live environment.


Key Responsibilities
  • Develop deployment strategy, wave definitions, and rollout sequencing.
  • Analyze readiness data to design deployment waves (location, business unit, technician availability, device readiness).
  • Define deployment operating model, including communication touchpoints and support alignment.
  • Lead daily deployment operations across teams (Schedulers, Field Support, Service Desk).
  • Validate location and device readiness using Nexthink dashboards and internal trackers.
  • Track deployment progress and escalate blockers.
  • Maintain the master deployment tracker and adjust plans based on readiness or resource availability.
  • Run daily deployment standups and provide updates to the PM.
  • Coordinate with business units to minimize operational disruption.
  • Support documentation of deployment KPIs, dashboards, and reporting.
