We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Permanent Project Manager to join our team in the Construction industry. This is an exceptional opportunity for a forward-thinking, strategic professional who is ready to take on a challenging role. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing several construction projects, ensuring that they are completed within budget and on schedule. This position requires a minimum of 5 years of experience in project management or a related field, with a strong emphasis on budgeting and team leadership.
Responsibilities:
1. Oversee all aspects of construction project management, including planning, coordination, and execution.
2. Develop and manage project budgets, ensuring that projects are delivered within financial constraints.
3. Lead and manage project teams, fostering a positive and productive work environment.
4. Liaise with clients, contractors, and other stakeholders, maintaining open lines of communication and ensuring that all parties are kept up-to-date on project progress.
5. Identify and manage project risks, implementing mitigation strategies as necessary.
6. Ensure that all projects are completed in compliance with industry standards and regulations.
7. Monitor project progress, making adjustments as necessary to ensure that projects are delivered on time and within budget.
8. Resolve any issues or conflicts that may arise during the course of the project.
9. Prepare and present project reports to senior management and other stakeholders.
10. Continually seek opportunities to improve project management processes and practices.
Qualifications:
1. A minimum of 5 years of experience in project management or a related field, preferably within the construction industry.
2. Demonstrated experience in budgeting and financial management.
3. Proven ability to lead and manage teams, with strong leadership and interpersonal skills.
4. Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to make sound decisions under pressure.
5. Strong organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
6. Excellent communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate complex information to a variety of audiences.
7. Proficiency in project management software and other relevant technology.
8. A degree in construction management, engineering, or a related field is preferred.
9. Professional Project Management (PMP) certification is an asset.
10. A thorough understanding of construction industry standards and regulations.
11. The ability to work effectively under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
12. The willingness to continually update and improve skills and knowledge.
