    DPP is seeking a Project Manager for a direct placement opportunity with our client in Winston-Salem, NC.
     
    Position Summary:
    • The Project Manager will be organized, proactive, and customer focused in order to lead the successful execution of custom retail display programs from concept through completion.
    • This role is ideal for someone who enjoys building relationships, solving complex challenges, coordinating cross-functional teams, and ensuring every detail comes together to deliver an exceptional customer experience.
    • The Project Manager serves as the central point of coordination for assigned customer projects, ensuring seamless communication between customers and internal teams throughout the entire project life cycle.
    • From order entry through design, engineering, sourcing, production, logistics, and final delivery, the Project Manager is responsible for keeping projects on schedule, identifying and mitigating risks, managing customer expectations, and delivering successful outcomes.
    • The ideal candidate is highly organized, analytical, and comfortable leveraging product management and business intelligence tools to monitor project performance, communicate status, and support data-driven decision making.
    Responsibilities:
    Project Leadership
    • Manage multiple customer projects simultaneously from order receipt through successful completion.
    • Develop, maintain, and communicate project schedules, milestones, and deliverables.
    • Drive projects forward by coordinating activities across Engineering, Design, Procurement, Supply Chain, Operations, Quality, Logistics, and Sales.
    • Monitor project progress and proactively identify risks, roadblocks, and opportunities.
    • Ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and aligned with customer expectations.
    Customer Relationship Management
    • Serve as the primary point of contact for assigned customer projects.
    • Build trusted relationships through consistent communication and exceptional customer service.
    • Conduct project kickoff meetings and provide regular project status updates.
    • Manage customer expectations throughout the project lifecycle.
    • Resolve customer concerns professionally while maintaining strong business relationships.
    Cross-Functional Collaboration
    • Partner closely with internal departments to ensure alignment on priorities, timelines, and project objectives.
    • Facilitate effective communication among all project stakeholders.
    • Escalate issues appropriately while driving timely resolution.
    Project Execution & Administration
    • Maintain accurate project documentation within the company's ERP system.
    • Coordinate engineering changes, customer revisions, and production updates.
    • Manage project schedules, meeting notes, action items, approvals, and deliverables.
    • Ensure customer requirements are communicated clearly throughout the organization.
    • Support change of order management and customer approvals.
    Financial & Operational Oversight
    • Review customer requirements, quotations, and purchase orders for completeness and accuracy.
    • Monitor project budgets, timelines, and profitability.
    • Assist with project forecasting and resource planning.
    • Identify opportunities to improve project efficiency while maintaining quality and customer satisfaction.
    Reporting & Continuous Improvement
    • Utilize ERP system and other business tools to track project performance, monitor key metrics, and provide visibility to stakeholders.
    • Develop dashboards, reports, and project status updates to support informed decision-making.
    • Identify opportunities to improve project workflows, communication, and operational efficiency.
    • Participate in continuous improvement initiatives and share lessons learned across project teams.
    Required Qualifications:
    • Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, Supply Chain, Project Management, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
    • 3+ years of experience in Project Management, Operations, Account Management, Supply Chain, or a related customer-facing role.
    • Proven ability to successfully manage multiple concurrent projects in a fast-paced environment.
    • Excellent organizational, planning, and time management skills.
    • Exceptional verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
    • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
    • High attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
    • Proficiency with Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, and Word.
    • Ability to build collaborative relationships across multiple departments.
    • Ability to manage competing priorities while maintaining exceptional customer service.
    • Must be local to position site.
    • Must be able to work in systems ERP and Power BI.
    Preferred Qualifications:
    • Experience within retail displays, point-of-purchase merchandising, manufacturing, packaging, consumer products, retail fixtures, or industrial project management.
    • Experience using ERP systems (NetSuite preferred)
    • Experience using project management software such as SmartSheets.
    • Experience in creating reports, dashboards, and performance metrics using Microsoft Power BI.
    • Familiarity with project management methodologies and best practices.
    • Experience coordinating projects involving engineering, procurement, manufacturing, or supply chain operations.
