  • Perform hydraulic calculations and analyses to evaluate water distribution and sewer collection systems, including pipe sizing, system capacity, pressure zones, flow demands, and existing infrastructure.
  • Manage and coordinate multiple infrastructure projects throughout the planning, design, permitting, and construction phases, ensuring project schedules, quality standards, and cost objectives are met.
  • Collaborate with developers, consulting engineers, contractors, inspectors, and local/state agencies to resolve design issues, conduct project meetings, and communicate technical requirements.
  • Prepare project cost estimates, evaluate capital improvement requirements, coordinate necessary permits, and support utility agreements and development-related initiatives.

Key Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Civil, Sanitary, Environmental Engineering, or a related engineering discipline.
  • Minimum of 5 years of progressively responsible engineering-related experience involving water/sewer infrastructure, utility design, construction plans, design reviews, constructability assessments, and hydraulic evaluations.

  • Working knowledge of water distribution and sewer collection systems, pipeline design and construction, pressure sewer systems, pump stations, pressure zones, and pressure-reducing valves (PRVs).
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office, CADD, and GIS applications; experience with water/sewer modeling software such as Bentley WaterGEMS, Bentley SewerGEMS, WaterCAD, or SewerCAD is highly desirable. Strong written, verbal, and customer-facing communication skills are essential.

Preferred Qualifications:
