Job Description

The responsibilities of the Project Manager:

  • Manage Project Schedule: Develop, monitor, and maintain project timelines to ensure construction activities are completed on schedule.
  • Control Project Budget: Track costs, manage contracts, approve expenditures, and ensure the project remains within budget while identifying cost-saving opportunities.
  • Coordinate Project Teams: Oversee communication and collaboration between owners, architects, engineers, subcontractors, suppliers, and field staff.
  • Ensure Quality and Safety Compliance: Monitor construction activities to ensure work meets project specifications, building codes, company quality standards, and safety requirements.
  • Manage Project Risks and Issues: Identify potential project risks, resolve construction challenges, address change orders, and implement solutions to keep the project on track.

The Successful Applicant

  • 5-7 years of construction experience
  • Civil construction background strongly preferred; wastewater experience is a major plus.
  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or related field preferred.
  • Strong organizational and communication skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a small, team-oriented environment.
  • Must be commutable to Halifax, MA (no hybrid/remote).

  • Base salary: $110,000-$150,000
  • Health, dental, and vision insurance with 75% of premiums covered and 100% of deductible paid.
  • 401(k) with 2% salary contribution + 3% safe harbor match (5% total company contribution).
  • 15 days PTO (increases to 20 days after 5 years).
