Our client is a third-generation, family-owned general contractor with a 75+ year legacy of building high-quality projects across Massachusetts. Headquartered in Halifax, MA, the firm has grown from a small site work contractor into a premier builder specializing in water/wastewater treatment plants, pump stations, site work, and increasingly, commercial interiors. Job Description
The responsibilities of the Project Manager:
- Manage Project Schedule: Develop, monitor, and maintain project timelines to ensure construction activities are completed on schedule.
- Control Project Budget: Track costs, manage contracts, approve expenditures, and ensure the project remains within budget while identifying cost-saving opportunities.
- Coordinate Project Teams: Oversee communication and collaboration between owners, architects, engineers, subcontractors, suppliers, and field staff.
- Ensure Quality and Safety Compliance: Monitor construction activities to ensure work meets project specifications, building codes, company quality standards, and safety requirements.
- Manage Project Risks and Issues: Identify potential project risks, resolve construction challenges, address change orders, and implement solutions to keep the project on track.

The Successful Applicant
- 5-7 years of construction experience
- Civil construction background strongly preferred; wastewater experience is a major plus.
- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or related field preferred.
- Strong organizational and communication skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a small, team-oriented environment.
- Must be commutable to Halifax, MA (no hybrid/remote).

- Base salary: $110,000-$150,000
