Job Details

Project Manager - Industrial Self-Perform Construction

You’ll steer multiple, large-scale industrial builds from notice-to-proceed through final turnover. Acting as the project’s business owner, you’ll shape schedules, control costs, align internal teams, and serve as the public face of our company with owners, design firms, and municipal agencies. Expect to be on the road about 35–40% of the time for site kickoffs, progress reviews, and close-out walks. Winning in this position means turning over work that is on schedule, within budget, incident-free, and built to the highest quality while developing client trust that secures our next award.

Key Duties:
  • Own the schedule, budget, margin, and overall performance of each project
  • Function as the single point of contact for clients, engineers, subs, and authorities having jurisdiction
  • Spot contractual or schedule issues early; drive change-order or risk-mitigation actions
  • Prepare precise monthly invoices, cost projections, and management reports
  • Run progress meetings and clear roadblocks to keep crews productive
  • Keep thorough project records and champion our safety program on every site

What You’ll Bring:
  • Minimum 5 years managing construction projects, ideally self-perform industrial work
  • Fluency in reading plans, specifications, and construction means/methods
  • Strong command of Microsoft Project plus advanced Word, Excel, and Outlook skills
  • Willingness and ability to travel 35–40%
