ASRC Federal Technology Solutions is seeking an experienced Project Manager to support a federal customer. The selected candidate will provide technical project management leadership, overseeing multiple complex IT initiatives while serving as a key liaison between project teams, customers, and senior government leadership.Work location: Onsite (Washington DC)Clearance: Ability to successfully complete a government issued background investigation.Key Responsibilities
Serve as the technical Project Manager, reporting directly to the Program Manager.Plan, organize, direct, and manage multiple complex, interrelated IT projects.Lead and oversee project teams to ensure successful execution of project objectives.Collaborate with OCIO stakeholders, customers, and technical staff to develop and review project plans, schedules, and deliverables.Ensure projects are completed on time, within scope, and within budget.Monitor project performance, identify risks, and implement corrective actions as needed.Prepare and present project status updates, technical briefings, and financial reports to management, customers, and senior leadership, including the CIO.Track project schedules, milestones, budgets, and resources using Microsoft Project.Ensure all project deliverables meet contractual requirements and quality standards.Support Agile and Agile-Hybrid project management methodologies throughout the project lifecycle.Foster effective working relationships with IT support staff, customers, and senior leadership to ensure successful project execution.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's degree or higher in Information Technology, Business, or a related field.Minimum of five (5) years of experience serving as a Project Manager supporting a Federal Government agency.Demonstrated experience managing multiple, complex IT projects simultaneously.Expert-level proficiency with Microsoft Project.Experience leading and motivating project teams to successfully achieve project goals.Proven ability to deliver projects on schedule and within budget.Experience providing project briefings and status updates to senior executives.Experience implementing or supporting Agile or Agile-Hybrid project management methodologies within the public sector.Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
Preferred: Current, active Project Management Professional (PMP) certification.
