Position Title: Project Manager – Utility Technology / Systems Implementation
Core Focus: End-to-end delivery of AMI deployments, GIS mapping integrations, and CIS/billing modernizations
Methodology: Agile, Waterfall, or hybrid frameworks tailored to regulated utility environments
Key Responsibilities:
Manage project lifecycles from planning and vendor selection through testing, cutover, and post-production support
Oversee AMI deployments, including smart meter rollouts, HES, MDMS, and field deployment logistics
Coordinate GIS mapping updates and integrations with CIS, customer billing, CRM, and financial workflows
Facilitate communication between IT, field operations, executive leadership, and third-party software vendors
Track project KPIs, manage change control processes, and mitigate operational risks
Qualifications & Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field
5+ years of IT or technical project management experience, preferably within water, gas, or electric utilities
Familiarity with enterprise platforms such as Oracle Utilities, SAP IS-U, Tyler Technologies, and Esri ArcGIS
PMP or Certified ScrumMaster (CSM) certification preferred
