Project Manager

Top ENR-recognized commercial construction leader is seeking a Project Manager to join its expanding Minnesota team. With more than two decades in business, multiple offices across the Midwest, and over $200M in annual construction volume, the company has established itself as a trusted partner for retail, multifamily, and specialty commercial clients.

Job Description

  • Manage multiple commercial construction projects from preconstruction through closeout
  • Develop and maintain project schedules, budgets, and subcontractor coordination efforts
  • Prepare estimates and manage project financials to ensure successful project delivery
  • Lead communication with clients, architects, engineers, and project stakeholders
  • Oversee project documentation, contracts, change orders, and reporting
  • Ensure projects are completed safely, on schedule, and within budget
  • Support field teams and collaborate closely with superintendents throughout construction
  • Foster strong client relationships and contribute to repeat business opportunities
  • Manage predominantly ground-up and renovation commercial projects valued between $3M and $10M
  • Play a key role in supporting the company's continued growth throughout the Charlotte market

The Successful Applicant

  • 5+ years of commercial construction project management experience
  • Proven experience managing ground-up and/or renovation commercial projects
  • Experience with retail, banking, financial institution, or similar commercial projects preferred
  • Strong scheduling, budgeting, and cost management skills
  • Ability to develop estimates and manage project financial performance
  • Excellent communication and client-facing abilities
  • Stable work history with demonstrated tenure and career progression
  • Proficiency with construction management software and Microsoft Office Suite
  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field preferred
  • Local Charlotte market experience strongly preferred
