Project Manager
Top ENR-recognized commercial construction leader is seeking a Project Manager to join its expanding Minnesota team. With more than two decades in business, multiple offices across the Midwest, and over $200M in annual construction volume, the company has established itself as a trusted partner for retail, multifamily, and specialty commercial clients.
Job Description
- Manage multiple commercial construction projects from preconstruction through closeout
- Develop and maintain project schedules, budgets, and subcontractor coordination efforts
- Prepare estimates and manage project financials to ensure successful project delivery
- Lead communication with clients, architects, engineers, and project stakeholders
- Oversee project documentation, contracts, change orders, and reporting
- Ensure projects are completed safely, on schedule, and within budget
- Support field teams and collaborate closely with superintendents throughout construction
- Foster strong client relationships and contribute to repeat business opportunities
- Manage predominantly ground-up and renovation commercial projects valued between $3M and $10M
- Play a key role in supporting the company's continued growth throughout the Charlotte market

The Successful Applicant
- 5+ years of commercial construction project management experience
- Proven experience managing ground-up and/or renovation commercial projects
- Experience with retail, banking, financial institution, or similar commercial projects preferred
- Strong scheduling, budgeting, and cost management skills
- Ability to develop estimates and manage project financial performance
- Excellent communication and client-facing abilities
- Stable work history with demonstrated tenure and career progression
- Proficiency with construction management software and Microsoft Office Suite
- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field preferred
- Local Charlotte market experience strongly preferred
