Project Manager / Superintendent - Commercial Construction

Location: Metro-North & Greater Boston

This position is ideal for someone early in their construction management career who wants to learn fast, grow their responsibilities, and become an integral part of a high-performing team. This is a full-time salaried position with growth opportunities. Candidates must be based in Boston and open to limited travel to job sites as needed. 

Where it goes. This role exists to build Superintendents, Assistant Project Managers, and Operations Managers. We'll pay for your OSHA, your lead-safe certification, and your Construction Supervisor License. If you show us judgment and follow-through, you'll be running your own jobs inside two years. That's not a line in a posting -- it's the reason the role exists. 

What you'll do 

- Develop and implement detailed project plans, including scope, objectives, deliverables, required resources, budget, and timelines. 

- Oversee the execution of projects, ensuring adherence to project plans and standards.

- Coordinate project team meetings to monitor progress and resolve any issues that arise

- Serve as the main point of contact for project stakeholders, ensuring clear and effective communication throughout the project lifecycle. 

- Establish and maintain strong relationships with clients, subcontractors, suppliers, and other external partners. 

- Develop, monitor, and manage project budgets, ensuring all expenses are within approved limits.

- Identify potential budget risks and develop strategies to mitigate them. 

- Implement and maintain quality control procedures to ensure all deliverables meet or exceed client expectations. 

- Support Project Managers and operations staff with coordination as needed

- Maintain comprehensive project documentation, including plans, budgets, schedules, and progress reports in SharePoint and Procore. 

- Provide leadership and guidance to project team members, fostering a collaborative and high-performance work environment. 

What we're looking for 

- 3+ years of commercial construction experience 

- Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills. 

- Proficiency in project management software and Microsoft Office Suite. 

- Experience with Procore and/or Bluebeam is a plus. 

- Ability to travel occasionally to remote job sites

- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation required. 

- A self-starter with the ability to work independently and think on their feet. 

- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record (required) 

- Comfortable driving pickups, vans, and 550/650-class trucks 

- Serious organization and follow-through -- this job is chasing things to closure

- Comfortable using a phone and tablet for photos, logs, and scheduling software

- Able to communicate clearly with subs, clients, inspectors, and neighbors

- Reliable transportation and consistent attendance 

Nice to have (and worth more money) 

- Experience coordinating trades, deliveries, or schedules in any industry 

- DOT medical card, current or obtainable 

- Trailer towing experience 

- OSHA 10 or 30 

- EPA/MA Lead-Safe Renovator (RRP) certification 

- MA Construction Supervisor License (CSL) or HIC registration 

- JobTread, BuilderTrend, or Procore experience 

- Conversational Spanish or Portuguese -- several of our subcontractor crews work primarily in these languages 

No degree required. 

Compensation & Benefits 

- $95,000 to $115,000 based on experience and certifications 

- Overtime at time-and-a-half over 40 hours
