Project Manager - Structural Steel Fabrication

We're hiring a Project Manager to lead structural steel fabrication projects for a fabricator in the Cincinnati metro. You'll own projects from award through final delivery and erection, keeping the shop, field, and customer aligned on schedule, budget, and quality.

Responsibilities:

• Manage fabricated steel projects from contract award through closeout: scope, schedule, budget, and change orders
• Coordinate closely with steel erectors on sequencing, delivery schedules, field issues, and site logistics
• Work with detailers, engineers, and the shop to keep drawings, approvals, and fabrication on track
• Run project meetings with general contractors, owners, and erectors; manage RFIs and submittals
• Track costs, billing, and production progress, and flag risks early

Requirements:

• 8+ years of project management in structural steel fabrication or steel erection
• Proven experience coordinating with steel erectors and field crews
• Able to read structural and shop drawings
• Strong communication, scheduling, and cost-control skills
• Engineering or construction management degree, or equivalent experience, preferred
