Project Manager - Structural Steel Fab & Erection

Loveland, OH area steel fabricator needs an experienced Project Manager to guide structural steel jobs from the moment the contract is signed until the last piece is erected. You'll be the link between the fabrication shop, the detailing team, and the steel erectors in the field.

How you'll spend your time:

• Own each fabricated steel project from award to closeout, including scope, schedule, budget, and change orders
• Coordinate closely with steel erectors on sequencing, deliveries, site logistics, and any field issues
• Drive RFIs and submittals, and run project meetings with general contractors, owners, and erectors
• Keep the shop, detailers, and engineers on track with drawings, approvals, and fabrication
• Watch costs, billing, and production progress, and raise risks early

Who you are:

• 8+ years of project management experience in structural steel fabrication or steel erection
• Proven coordination with steel erectors and field crews
• Able to read structural and shop drawings
• Strong at scheduling, cost control, and communication
• Engineering or construction management degree, or equivalent experience, preferred
