Project Manager - Steel Fabrication & Erection Coordination

We're seeking a Project Manager in Newport, KY to lead structural steel fabrication work from award through final delivery and erection. You'll keep the shop, field crews, and customers locked on schedule, budget, and quality.

Responsibilities include:

• Work with detailers, engineers, and the shop to keep drawings, approvals, and fabrication on track
• Run project meetings with general contractors, owners, and erectors; manage RFIs and submittals
• Manage fabricated steel projects from contract award through closeout: scope, schedule, budget, and change orders
• Coordinate closely with steel erectors on sequencing, delivery schedules, field issues, and site logistics
• Track costs, billing, and production progress, and flag risks early

Requirements:

• 8+ years of project management in structural steel fabrication or steel erection
• Able to read structural and shop drawings
• Proven experience coordinating with steel erectors and field crews
• Engineering or construction management degree, or equivalent experience, preferred
• Strong communication, scheduling, and cost-control skills
