About the Role
We are hiring a Project Manager to lead our Small and Special Projects group. In this role, you'll own project success from proposal through closeout balancing safety, budget, quality, and schedule while acting as the main point of contact between internal teams, clients, architects, and subcontractors.
You'll partner closely with business development, estimating, and operations to shape winning proposals and then deliver on them.
What You'll Do

• Plan, direct, and coordinate all phases of assigned projects to keep them on schedule and within budget
• Prepare, review, and submit project proposals, estimates, drawings, and specifications
• Support business development on the pursuit of small and special project opportunities
• Participate in project walkthroughs, site visits, and early feasibility discussions
• Collaborate with estimating and operations on pricing strategy and go/no-go decisions
• Coordinate and obtain building, erosion control, and dewatering permits as needed
• Build and leverage client/owner relationships to support business advancement
• Manage scope and plan changes; prepare updated estimates and pricing
• Work closely with superintendents, project engineers, owners, architects, and subcontractors providing regular progress updates
• Help resolve disputes with owners, subcontractors, suppliers, and vendors
• Prepare project update reports and attend construction/project management meetings
• Review and approve invoices, submit pay applications, manage job cost adjustments, and issue subcontracts, purchase orders, and change orders
• Conduct quarterly job analysis
• Uphold safety and quality standards on every project

What You Bring

• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management or a related field (or equivalent combination of education, training, and experience)
• Project Management Certification
• 4 6 years of related work or internship experience, preferably in construction
• Ability to read drawings, interpret codes, and understanding of building design phases
• Strong multi-project management skills under time constraints
• Experience or interest in coaching/developing Assistant Project Managers
• Willingness to travel to project sites
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
