Oversees and manages the operational aspects of ongoing projects and serves as liaison between project management and planning, project team, and line management. Reviews status of projects and budgets; manages schedules and prepares status reports. Assesses project issues and develops resolutions to meet productivity, quality, and client-satisfaction goals and objectives. Develops mechanisms for monitoring project progress and for intervention and problem solving with project managers, line managers, and clients.

You will be the Project Manager Senior Staff for the Lower Tier Integrated Air and Missile Defense Supply Chain team. Our team is responsible for managing day‑to‑week operations, contributing to strategic planning, and supporting internal and external communications strategies to drive business success.

What You Will Be Doing

• Partner directly with the Director to execute strategic priorities and transformation initiatives.
• Maintain visibility to all major organizational objectives, milestones, risks, and dependencies.
• Develop and manage executive-level action plans, operating rhythms, and governance processes.
• Drive accountability across leadership teams to ensure commitments are completed on schedule.
• Coordinate initiatives related to digital supply chain, AI-enabled decision support, supplier capacity management, and industrial base readiness.
• Support development and deployment of executive dashboards and performance management tools.
• Track implementation progress of strategic initiatives and ensure realization of expected business outcomes.
• Assist in developing future-state organizational capabilities and operating models.
• Support execution of supplier transformation and supplier sprint initiatives.
• Coordinate activities between consulting partners, internal transformation teams, and functional leaders.
• Track supplier improvement actions, capacity expansion initiatives, and readiness assessments.
• Ensure lessons learned and best practices are institutionalized across the organization.
• Partner closely with the Executive Assistant to optimize executive effectiveness, meeting structure, communications, and leadership engagement.
• Prepare executive presentations, strategic communications, and leadership reviews.
• Facilitate staff meetings, leadership offsites, and strategic planning sessions.
• Manage executive follow-up actions and decision tracking.
• MUST BE A U.S. CITIZEN - This position is located at a facility that requires special access.

Basic Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, Supply Chain, Operations, or related field.
• 7-15 years of experience in program management, operations, supply chain, consulting, engineering, strategy, or business operations.
• Demonstrated success leading complex cross-functional initiatives.
• Strong executive communication and presentation skills.
• Exceptional organizational and project management capabilities.
• Ability to influence without direct authority.
• Experience working with senior executives and leadership teams.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Desired Skills

• Aerospace and defense industry experience.
• Supply chain, manufacturing, operations, or industrial base experience.
• Lean, Six Sigma, operational excellence, or transformation program experience.
• Experience supporting digital transformation, analytics, or AI-enabled initiatives.
• Management consulting or strategic program office experience.

Pay Information

Full-Time Salary Range: $129000.00 - $239600.00

Represented full time employees accrue 6.67 hours of Vacation per month; accrue up to 52 hours of sick leave annually; receive at least 96 hours for holidays. PTO, Vacation, sick leave, and holiday hours are prorated based on start date during the calendar year.
