Epitec is seeking to hire a Healthcare Data Analyst to support healthcare analytics, reporting, and program performance initiatives.
This role will focus on analyzing complex Medicaid and healthcare claims data, developing Power BI dashboards, performing SQL-based data analysis, and delivering actionable insights to stakeholders. The ideal candidate has strong healthcare analytics experience, particularly with Medicaid claims data and healthcare performance reporting.

Utilize SQL to transform, merge, cleanse, and analyze large healthcare datasets.
Create and maintain Power BI dashboards, data models, visualizations, and reports.
Serve as a subject matter expert for healthcare data sources, including:
All Payer Claims Database (APCD)
Medicaid Management Information System (MMIS)
Ecosystem data sources
Monitor program performance and develop reporting solutions for leadership and stakeholders.
Validate data quality and ensure reporting accuracy.
Coordinate with state staff and program stakeholders regarding enrollment and reporting requirements.
Identify trends, patterns, and opportunities within healthcare data.
Support program development through data-driven recommendations.
Manage multiple reporting projects and meet critical deadlines.
Bachelor's Degree in:
Health Policy
Health Economics
Statistics
Medical Informatics
Epidemiology
Related quantitative field
Equivalent experience considered
3+ years of healthcare data analysis experience.
Strong SQL development and data manipulation skills.
Experience with:
Power BI
Microsoft Excel
Microsoft Access
Healthcare performance measurement and reporting experience.
Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
Excellent communication skills with technical and non-technical audiences.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
Strong organizational and prioritization skills.
Master's Degree in a quantitative healthcare-related discipline.

Minimum Data Set (MDS)
Complex Real-World Healthcare Data
Deep understanding of Medicaid programs and reporting requirements.
