Overlake Medical Center is seeking an experienced HEALTHCARE Project Manager to partner closely with our Executive Leadership Team and lead a portfolio of highly visible, high-impact strategic and technology initiatives.

In this role, you will oversee a diverse portfolio of enterprise projects, ensuring successful delivery of complex, cross-functional initiatives that align with organizational priorities. Key Responsibilities

  • Serve as a strategic partner to executive and operational leaders, ensuring initiatives align with organizational priorities, enterprise strategy, and measurable business outcomes.
  • Lead complex programs consisting of multiple interrelated projects, managing dependencies, risks, resources, and organizational impacts across service lines and departments.
  • Drive enterprise portfolio outcomes by balancing organizational priorities, identifying interdependencies, and ensuring initiatives collectively support strategic objectives.
  • Lead organizational change management efforts for major initiatives, including stakeholder engagement, communication planning, readiness assessments, training strategies, adoption planning, and sustainment activities.
  • Lead and manage a portfolio of complex enterprise and information services projects, including large-scale, high-profile technology initiatives.
  • Oversee all phases of the project management lifecycle: initiation, planning, execution, monitoring, controlling, and closeout.
  • Define project scope, objectives, timelines, and resource requirements in collaboration with stakeholders.
  • Develop comprehensive project plans, including dependencies, milestones, and budgets.
  • Monitor and report on project and portfolio health, providing visibility to executive leadership.
  • Facilitate alignment between project goals and organizational strategic priorities.
  • Lead cross-functional project teams and coordinate efforts across departments, vendors, and external partners.
  • Manage competing priorities related to scope, schedule, cost, and quality.
  • Drive communication and stakeholder engagement, ensuring transparency and alignment at all levels of the organization.
  • Oversee organizational change management efforts, including business process redesign for technology implementations.
  • Identify risks, troubleshoot issues, and resolve challenges while maintaining strong working relationships.
  • Establish and continuously improve project management practices and portfolio processes.
  • Mentor, coach, and provide guidance to other project managers.
  • Coordinate efforts with other project managers to support enterprise-wide project delivery.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree required; Master's degree preferred.
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) certification preferred.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience managing progressively complex projects and teams (healthcare experience required or strongly preferred).
  • Demonstrated experience leading enterprise programs with multiple concurrent projects, cross-functional dependencies, and executive sponsorship.
  • Proven ability to influence and collaborate with senior executives, physician leaders, operational leaders, and external partners without direct authority.
  • Proven experience managing multiple large-scale projects simultaneously in a fast-paced, high-visibility environment.
  • Advanced knowledge of project management methodologies, systems, and tools.
  • Strong skills in project scoping, scheduling, budgeting, quality analysis, and resource management.
  • Demonstrated success delivering projects on time and within budget while overcoming obstacles.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
  • Strong organizational, problem-solving, negotiation, and leadership capabilities.
  • Ability to remain composed, objective, and effective under pressure.

Senior Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree required, Master's degree preferred.
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) certification required.
  • Minimum of 8 years experience leading progressively more complex projects and project teams is required (3 years healthcare experience highly preferred).
