Your Role

Akkodis is seeking a Project Manager -Security Program for a Contract with a client in Minneapolis, MN (Remote). The ideal candidate will be responsible for driving the execution and governance of enterprise security programs by coordinating remediation activities, managing risks, and ensuring alignment across business, technology, and security teams.

Rate Range: $34/hour to $41/hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.

Project Manager -Security Program Job Responsibilities include:

  • Lead and coordinate enterprise security program initiatives, ensuring timely execution of remediation activities, milestones, and governance requirements across multiple applications and business units.

  • Partner with security, technology, and business stakeholders to manage risks, issues, dependencies, and action items while driving accountability and program success.

  • Maintain project plans, RAID logs, dashboards, status reports, and executive communications to provide clear visibility into program progress and performance.

  • Facilitate meetings, status reviews, and stakeholder discussions to track deliverables, resolve roadblocks, and ensure alignment with security objectives.

  • Monitor application remediation efforts, identify risks or delays, and proactively develop mitigation strategies to support successful program delivery.

  • Support leadership and executive reviews by preparing presentations, reporting metrics, and communicating key decisions, escalations, and program outcomes.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in business administration, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field. PMP, PRINCE2, Agile, or equivalent project management certification is preferred.

  • 10+ years of experience in Project Management or Program Management, with a strong track record leading large-scale enterprise technology, security, or cybersecurity initiatives.

  • Proven experience managing Identity & Access Management (IAM), Security, Risk, Compliance, or Application Security Remediation programs, with expertise in governance, risk management, and stakeholder engagement.

  • Strong proficiency with project management tools such as Microsoft Project, Jira, Azure DevOps, and Smartsheet, along with exceptional communication, executive reporting, and cross-functional coordination skills.

Pay Details: $34.00 to $41.00 per hour
