Job Description
The responsibilities of an Assistant Project Manager:
- Assist in managing commercial interior construction projects from preconstruction through closeout
- Coordinate with clients, subcontractors, vendors, and internal project teams
- Support project scheduling, budgeting, procurement, and documentation processes
- Monitor project progress to ensure quality, safety, and schedule objectives are achieved
- Participate in project meetings and maintain clear communication with stakeholders
- Help manage multiple project components while ensuring client expectations are exceeded
- Track project costs, change orders, RFIs, submittals, and progress reporting
- Assist senior project management staff in delivering projects ranging from small renovations to large-scale interior fit-outs
- Support work performed within occupied, sensitive, and mission-critical environments
- Ensure project compliance with security, badging, and client-specific requirements

The Successful Applicant
A successful Assistant Project Manager should have:
- 2 to 5+ years of construction experience in a Project Engineer or Assistant Project Manager capacity
- Experience with commercial interior construction projects
- Exposure to one or more of the following sectors: Corporate Office, Healthcare, Government, Higher Education, Technology, Secure or mission-critical facilities
- Ability to manage a single large project or multiple smaller projects simultaneously
- Strong organizational, communication, and relationship-building skills
- Understanding of construction documentation, scheduling, and project controls
- Ability to successfully complete a background check and drug screening for security badging requirements

- Base salary: $70,000 - $100,000+ (flexible based on experience)
- Monthly vehicle allowance: $500
- Performance bonus: $10,000 - $20,000 potential
